Wc3l vs mouz

Just finished our match vs mouz in wc3l. It started off with the 2on2, here me and knoff felt very secure to win it. Mouz played with hasu/th000 today which surprised us alot and since we hate to play vs an ud/elf team we had to figure out something extra. We lost the first game pretty big, my massing strat with hunts and demon didnt work out at all as we wanted it to do. They had perfect timing with their attack and it was G_G. 2nd game we played it all standard and it turned out to be the best idea. 3rd map we went for a mass hunts strat again and they expoed at the same time as us..Their army got much bigger than ours and it feels like me/knoff in 2on2 always loses with 1-2 vs ANY ud/elf team out there..so damn frustrating...Reps for the clanwar can be found HERE

Then I had to play th000, startmap TM(woohoo!). I pushed him with warden and mass hunts, killed his lvl 3 AM early in the game and I felt like this would be no problem. Then I suddenly noticed I had almost an entire army of hunts, that was not the plan at all. I wanted to have more glaives instead and 2-0 upgrade on them. I guess the nerves took me a little bit but I managed to get up some glaives and dryards and get level 6 on my warden and in the end it turned out to be the deciding factor for the GG. Map 2 on MV I exepcted him to expo fast with AM but he played MK and crept the merc creep directly, I crept the same and massed hunts and won the game really fast since he didnt manage to get up his tower at his expansion. The feeling: Really nice(!!) to get my first 1on1 win in wc3l.

After that I had to play fly in the last bo3, who I also play tomorrow in the ngl 1 league. The first game started out great but he played some weird strat with hh's that surprised me and I got unsecure and lost the match pretty hard. TM went exactly as I wanted it to go with a combination of hunts/dryrds I gained advantage early on and could push him really good and end the game. Map 3 was MV(usually a orc map) but I had practised alot on MV vs orc and I felt ok with playing it. I think he expected a 50 pop push but I waited and he made a big mistake taking a fight in my base with a really bad position from him. He was way too aggressive at this point and I could push him and finish the game. Two wins in the 1on1 feels really good, I think I will sleep well tonight. Good job to thorzain(SHAPE!!!) also defeating fly which also lead to the win !! 3-2 :)
